What we collect

When you create a Foundly account we collect your name, email address, company name, and website. As we deliver the service we also handle the business data needed to do the work: your business name, address, and phone details for citations and local listings, your website content and search performance data, your Google Business Profile information including reviews and posts, and records of the work we deliver. Payments are handled by Stripe - Foundly never sees or stores your card or bank numbers.

Google data

When you connect Google Search Console or Google Business Profile, Foundly reads only the data needed to run the service: search queries, pages, clicks, impressions, rankings, profile details, reviews, posts, and photos. Foundly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell Google data, never use it for advertising, and never let humans read it except to support you, comply with law, or operate the service. You can disconnect Google at any time from your dashboard, which stops all syncing.

How we use your data

Your data is used for one purpose: running your search visibility program. That means writing and publishing content, managing local listings and reviews, building reports, sending the emails you expect (sign-in links, order confirmations, work-completed alerts, and scheduled reports), and billing for the service. We do not sell personal data, rent lists, or run advertising on your information.

Service providers we rely on

Foundly runs on a small set of processors, each receiving only what their job requires: Cloudflare hosts the platform and database, Stripe processes payments, Resend delivers email, OpenAI processes content generation requests, Pexels supplies stock photography, and local-listing data networks receive your public business details when you order citation or directory services. Website and Google credentials you share with us are stored encrypted and are used only to do the work you approved.

Cookies

Foundly uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember which workspace you are viewing. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account data while your account is active so your reports, proof of work, and history stay intact. If you cancel, you can ask us to delete your account data and we will remove it, except for billing records we are legally required to keep. Ask through your dashboard or by replying to any Foundly email.

Security

Sign-in uses one-time email links, so there is no password to steal. Credentials you entrust to us are encrypted at rest, and access tokens are stored as hashes that cannot be replayed. Foundly runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure with encryption in transit.

Children

Foundly is a business service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will note the new date here and tell active customers by email. Questions about privacy or your data can be sent through the Foundly dashboard or by replying to any Foundly email.
